Një zjarr ka përfshirë sot parkun natyror të Donanas në jug të Spanjës duke çuar në evakuimin e më shumë se 1 500 personave, njoftuan autoritetet.

“Zjarri, që u njoftua dje në mbrëmje në komunën e Moguerit (jugperëndim) arriti limitet në parkun natyror të Donanas, klasifikuar si trashëgimi botërore nga UNESCO”, deklaroi sot për televizionin publik, zëvendësi për Mjedisin i qeverisë rajonale të Andaluzisë, Jose Fiscal.

“Si pasojë e zjarrit u evakuan më shumë se 1 500 persona, veçanërisht nga një kamping i këtij rajoni turistik”, shtoi ai.

“Rreth 10 helikopterë dhe katër hidroavionë u mobilizuan për të luftuar kundër zjarrit”, sipas shërbimeve të urgjencës.

Shërbimet e urgjencës theksuan se kishin ristrehuar 750 persona duke shtuar se shumë të tjerë ishin zhvendosur, përcjell Atsh.

“Faktori njerëzor nuk përjashtohet në shpërthimin e zjarrit”, theksoi drejtuesja e rajonit, Susana Diaz.

Në Portugalinë fqinje, 64 persona humbën jetën dhe më shumë se 250 të tjerë u plagosën si pasojë e zjarreve në pyje.
